First 17 Days IPL Schedule 2024: BCCI has officially released the schedule of the first 17 days of matches of IPL 2024 on 22 January. In which 21 matches will be played in 17 days by 10 teams. This is a big update given by BCCI after the IPL 2024 auction. For which Indian cricket fans were eagerly waiting. The first match of IPL 2024 will be played in Chennai on 22 March. BCCI has officially announced the schedule of the first 17 days (two weeks) of Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, whose first opening match or the first match day of IPL 2024 has been kept on March 22, 2024. And the final match or last match of IPL 2024 will be played on April 7, 2024. 21 matches will be played by 10 teams in 10 different cities during the duration of the 17-day IPL schedule. In which each team is going to play maximum 5 matches and minimum three matches.

IPL 2024 Opening Ceremony Date will be held on March 22 in Chennai, BCCI has announced that, the opening ceremony will be held before the game of Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bangalore. Chennai has earned the right to be the defending champion as they have won the IPL five times, including being the finalist in the last season. Which will be two double headers in the first weekend. CSK has decided to play its first two home matches in Visakhapatnam.

IPL 2024 BCCI Protocols and Advice
BCCI will work closely with the government and security agencies by following all necessary protocols and advisories related to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in India. Once the 18th Lok Sabha election dates are announced, the Board will review and resolve any issues related to the first two weeks’ schedule. Following this, the BCCI will work with local authorities to finalize the schedule for the remaining season keeping in mind the voting dates.
