Two riding modes are available in Himalayan, which include Eco and Sport mode. Through which you can use the power in a proper way by changing the mode of the bike.

The new circular TFT instrument console allows turn-by-turn navigation via Google Maps and the switchgear is also all-new. M Mode can be used to switch between Eco and Performance modes and there’s also a five-way joystick to cycle through different settings. The Himalayan 450 also has a tall transparent windscreen and the fuel tank capacity is 17 litres.

Himalayan 450 will be offered in three variants – Base, Pass, and the top-spec Summit. While the Base variant comes in the Kaza Brown colour, Pass is offered in Slate Himalayan Salt and Slate Poppy Blue colours.

The ex-showroom pricing begins at ₹2.69 lakh (Base), going up to ₹2.74 lakh (Pass), ₹2.79 lakh (Summit; Kamet White) and ₹2.84 lakh (Summit; Hanle Black). The prices, it must be noted, are applicable till December 31, and, therefore, are only introductory. Deliveries, meanwhile, will begin at a later date.

The motorcycle gets power from an all-new 451.65 cc single-cylinder DOHC 4-valve liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine. This powertrain is good enough to produce a maximum power output of 40.02 PS and peak torque of 40 Nm. The powertrain is mated to a 6-speed transmission and the equipment list is equipped with several first-for-RE features.
